I liked everything about this hotel. There are about 12 parking lots around the hotel but if all the lots are full, they do have a 2nd parking lot about 2 minutes walk away from the hotel which was fine. Free coffee and tea at the lounge area till 11pm daily. They have a public onsen and if you are a smoker, you will love their outdoor smoking area because it is beautiful and comfortable. The room was spacious as I booked the 30sqm room for 3 people. I love the fact that the aircon unit was in the ceiling in the centre of the room so the air distribution was fantastic. The room uses a key and not an access card which was fine. One thing to remember is to remove your key after unlocking the door. The breakfast was good for a smaller hotel. The Dutch baby pancakes was so delicious! The staff was also professional. On our last morning before checking out, the staff actually remembered we had a total of 5 people in our group and asked if our last member would be coming down for breakfast. That really impressed me as he bothered to remember the number of people in our group and even checked if he was coming for breakfast.

The breakfast was unique with freshly squeezed juices and Japanese dishes. The room is huge with plenty of luggage space and wardrobe to hang the coats. They provide a wide variety of teas and a delicious red bean soup with mochi dumplings in the evening, perfect for a sweet treat after a long day of snow activities. There are restaurants nearby like El Asador, which serves really good steaks, and Kitchen Farm F's Gate that has the best soft serve ice cream in this area. The hotel also has an area for you to lock up your ski equipment which is very useful and convenient.

It was located at the base of the Fuano ski hill, everything was walkable and there were multiple choices for food nearby. There was a nice public bath on the property with very hot water which is perfect after a day of skiing. The breakfast was very nice with both Japanese and western choices. We chose to make a reservation to eat at the hotel one evening, it was a lovely meal that the chef took great care in preparing. It was definitely one of the nicest meals we had while in Japan! There was a fun international crowd of skiers.

The staff were simply fantastic. They went above and beyond as hotel staff. My group met with an accident involving our vehicle and were not sure of the process. The staff promptly helped us call the rental company to explain the situation and relayed the rental company's instructions in English to us, thereby acting as a translator. They also assisted to make a police report, which is needed for any vehicular accident in Japan.

We stayed during October, so not during ski season. Location is a bit far from town, this location definitely needs a car or taxi to access. The parking lot is small but there is an adjacent space to park, about 2 mins walk. The room is quite spacious. We didn't have the breakfast. The onsen is a medium sized, around 4 shower stalls. They had some board games and essential oils with stones for you to use back in the room.
